Four businesses honored with Torch Awards

“The Torch Award for Ethics honors businesses in six Tennessee counties, no matter how big or small, that make a demonstrable effort to promote ethical business practices,” and Kathleen Calligan, president/CEO of the BBB of Middle Tennessee/Southern Kentucky.

“These recipients are a testament to doing business the right way. As a result of their commitment to business ethics, each has a greater employee commitment, stronger customer loyalty and sustained long-term business success in their industry.”

This marks the first year the Fayetteville Area BBB office has held the Torch Awards for Ethics program. According to an independent panel of judges, the 2002-03 call for entries received over 50 nominations from the service area resulting in four recipients, 11 finalists and six-semi- finalist in four employee size categories.

The Better Business Bureau of Middle Tennessee, Fayetteville Area Branch is honored to recognize the following Recipients of “2003 Torch Awards for Marketplace Ethics Award”:

Category 1, small employee (1-5 employees); Personal Touch Carpet Care, Fayetteville, David Sanders, owner.
